Poblenou · 22@ → Fira Gran Via
Staying in Poblenou or 22@ for MWC
Poblenou and the 22@ innovation district have new hotels, tech offices and restaurants, and many congress teams stay or hold meetings there. The venue is on the other side of the city, so the daily run needs a little planning.

By road
Eighteen minutes on a clear road
From the centre of Poblenou to Fira Gran Via is about 9.5 km and 18 minutes without traffic, and about 19 minutes on the way back (OSRM, OpenStreetMap, checked on 4 November 2026). Without traffic the shortest route crosses the city centre to Gran Via; depending on the traffic of the moment, the driver may take the Ronda Litoral instead. On the last day of 2026 the press reported queues of about 8.5 km on the Ronda Litoral towards the Llobregat, so for the opening we plan for roughly double the time without traffic plus ten minutes.
To the airport it is about 25 minutes to T1 and 24 minutes to T2 without traffic.
By public transport
One change at least
The L4 metro serves Poblenou and the 22@ area, but no line goes directly to Fira Gran Via: you change at least once, usually towards the L1 or L3 to Espanya and the FGC train to Europa | Fira. For one person travelling light it works; with laptops, samples or a team, a daily run from the hotel door is calmer. Compare both in taxi, metro or transfer.
How to book
Choose the Diagonal Mar area in the price box
In the price box, choose «Diagonal Mar / Fòrum», the area that covers most of Poblenou and 22@, and give your hotel or office address when you book. You see the fixed price for each vehicle before you pay. For meetings in 22@ during the day, a car with driver by the hour keeps the same car between the venue and the offices; for dinners by the sea, see evenings and dinners. The neighbouring area is in Diagonal Mar and the Fòrum.
