The organiser publishes an accessible drop-off area, accessible parking and free companion passes, all with deadlines before the congress. Here is the list, and how to plan the transfer so the car can use it.

What the organiser publishes for 2027

These are the arrangements listed on the organiser’s accessibility page for MWC27. Requests go to the organiser or its service providers, not to us.

  • A dedicated accessible vehicle drop-off and pick-up area at the back of Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via, with a car sticker requested before Monday 22 February 2027.
  • Accessible parking spaces in Parking B and Parking F, with a valid disabled parking badge.
  • Wheelchairs available at the South and North entrances.
  • A free companion pass and a guide dog pass, requested through customer support before Friday 19 February 2027.

The transfer

How we plan it with you

Tell us when you book what you need: a folding wheelchair or walker in the boot, help getting in and out, extra time at pick-up. If you have the car sticker for the accessible drop-off area, send it to us and the driver uses that area. We confirm in writing what vehicle we send before the trip.

At the airport, assistance from the plane to the arrivals hall is arranged with your airline. The driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name and waits 60 minutes free from the real landing time.

Choosing the hotel with mobility in mind

Walking from Plaça d’Europa to the venue is about a kilometre: short for most, long for some. A hotel a few minutes away by car with a door-to-door transfer can be easier than a closer one on foot. The driving times for each area are in where to stay.
