First time at MWC Barcelona: the transport checklist
The congress is easier the second time, because you know where the queues are. This checklist gives you that second time on the first: what to book, what to check and what you can leave to the metro.

The week before
Check these
- The 2027 opening hours, when the organiser publishes them: dates and hours.
- The attendee transport pass conditions, which covered zone 1 and one airport trip in 2026: how to get to MWC.
- Your hall and entrance: South for MWC, North for 4YFN.
- Any strike notice: strike plan.
During the congress
Every day
- Mornings: the hour before opening is the busiest on the roads. Alone and light, the L9 Sud is fine.
- Closing time: agree a pick-up point if you booked a car: drop-off and pick-up.
- Evenings: book the ride back from dinner before you sit down: evenings and dinners.
- Meetings across town: a car with driver by the hour can replace a day of separate rides.
The last day
Leaving
- In 2026 the exhibition closed at 16:00 on the last day. Plan the airport run with margin: back to the airport.
- Suitcases: the organiser lists cloakrooms among its onsite facilities; check hours in the event app.
- Late or dawn flights: late arrivals and early flights.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a car during MWC?
Not always. Alone with hand luggage from the city, the metro works. A car helps for groups, luggage, hotels outside Barcelona, evenings and the last day.
When should I arrive?
Many attendees arrive on Sunday, the day before opening. Book the airport transfer before you fly.
Is public transport included?
In 2026 attendees received a free pass for zone 1 and one airport trip. The 2027 conditions are not published yet.
Can I see prices before booking?
Yes. The price box on every page gives a live fixed price for your route, date, time and group, for every vehicle category.
Completed services only. Figures rounded down and updated every hour.
Included in your fixed price
