Staying on in Barcelona after MWC

MWC 2027 closes on Thursday 4 March, and many attendees stay on for a long weekend. This is how to plan the moves of those extra days.

From the venue to the weekend hotel

In 2026 the exhibition closed at 16:00 on the last day. If you are moving from a hotel near the venue to one in the city for the weekend, book a transfer with your luggage: from Fira Gran Via to the centre is about 13 minutes without traffic (OSRM, OpenStreetMap), more at closing time. The organiser lists cloakrooms among its onsite facilities if you check out in the morning.

Going home

The airport on Sunday

Book the ride to the airport from your weekend hotel in the price box: choose the area and the terminal, and you see the fixed price for each vehicle. From the city centre it is about 22 minutes to T1 and 20 minutes to T2 without traffic. For a very early flight, see late arrivals and early flights.
